Max woke up with a smile on his face because he thought it was Saturday. Soon his mum came in and saw he was sleeping and started to yell.
“Max get up now!!!!” she shouted
He looked up at his very angry mum and his mum looked back at him with shock. Max had rosy red spots covering his entire face he was very ill. After his mum went to get the thermometer , Max took a sip of water he brought up with him before went to bed.
“Here a nice cold clothe ” his mum laughed
All his chicken pox wiped right off.

I really enjoyed reading this. The balance between description and dialogue is good and the ending is unexpected – I didn’t think he would be faking it!
