100wc Introduction

Hi,

We will be using the blog to complete pieces of writing that are limited to 100words (give or take 10%). This is harder than it seems. 100wc doesn’t stand for 100 toilets (Water Closets) but for 100 Word Challenge.

The writing can be any genre you like (narrative, poetry, non-narrative) so the world is literally your oyster. I will then post your entry onto the 100wc website so you will officially be a published order after the first week. Other children and teachers, as well as the rest of our class, will hopefully comment on your work to say what you are doing well and also what we can improve next time.

On top of this, you will learn about what a blog is, how to use it and the different terminology (vocabulary) that is associated with blogging (you may know this from watching Vlogs etc.).

Enjoy!

Welcome

Welcome to your own personal blogging space!

This is now your very own class page! You can log on to this from home but I will be the administrator so comments will be monitored.

IMPORTANT

Due to you being published authors, this blog will be public. This means that anybody can look at your writing which is fantastic. However, this also means that you SHOULD NOT any personal information on here under any circumstances.

If you are in doubt then leave it out!
