Dear diary,
Yesterday I was going to Spain and I’m here now. When I was getting on the plane, it just wouldn’t set off (finally it set off).This part of the story is really funny. My mam nearly got left; she was too busy talking. Mind, she was getting our food for the trip (also drinks).Me and my friends Sally, Sarah, John and Dave got our paper out and we, drew lots of the same picture mine was obviously the best.
Half an hour later, Jasmine was sleeping (she is sleeping every trip we go on).Me and Louise were still drawing pictures(an hour later).We arrived at Spain. We got into the hotel room and then, we set off to the pool.

I laughed when I read about how your mam nearly missed the plane. I have three children and I can imagine that happening to me!
The idea of a Spanish holiday sounds very appealing (especially the pool at the hotel).
Remember to say ‘Louise and I’ and ‘My friends, Sally, Sarah, John, Dave and I’, rather than putting yourself first in your sentence.
