I knew it wouldn’t because there had been rigorous testing since the, incident. In I went, with my assistant Buzz Aldrin. Up to the control room we went. The controls were nearly as magnificent as the ship itself. I was ready. I sat down on the pilots (me) leathery chair. I was ready. The count from mission control had begun. 5 4 3 2 1.

Hi Luke, and thank you for this really well structured creative piece for your 100WC. You have used some excellent descriptive words here and the whole story rattles along at a breakneck speed. My only problem with it is that it ends abruptly and whilst that can be good, I am left wanting more! Well done.
