100-Word-Challenge

Dear Diary,

Today, we have been putting the stock- mark on the sheep so if they go missing they will be easy found. We  painted mine with purple this year on their shoulders as we started on the middle of their backs. As they were coming through my favourite one came ,which is nearly the size of a baby elephant , its lamb made £450 last year. Watching the sheep grazing on the rich green pasture is like violin music to my ears. Its happy to watch the lambs really big after a year of looking after them so they make lots of money.

Elephant painting

As the old man played the violin, his crooked fingers glided along the strings . A peaceful , beautiful women painted across a huge canvas and her paint brush covered in the sloppy purple paint the women’s name was Selina and she had wonderful blue eyes with brown hair . she painted an elephant in a jungle the elephant was happy and was full of glee. The man was stopping and the women panicked as the man ,who was 90, collapsed on the floor and the women dropped the paintbrush all over her white carpet  she ran over to the man because he wasn’t moving . . .

The purple Elephant

The purple Elephant which painted a happy violin on his wall . The thing the elephant has always asked for was a plain book of card . Christmas came around so he feel a sleep at six on Christmas eve . The next morning he went to go open his gifts . The elephant was going through his gifts he got a paint tray .The elephant was hoping for a plain book of card to paint on . He opened his last gift and got a plain book of card at last . He danced around and said yes . Now he has a happy life .

As I journeyed through the jungle, I saw a clearing, it looked like there was an elephant… I finally reached the clearing. I told you there was an elephant but the funny thing is it was using it’s hands to do something. I was so tired I had to rest near a tree to catch my breath (I still didn’t know what it was doing). Then it turned around and showed me something… This made me very happy because he had painted a violin, which was purple. He made a gesture for me to take it so I did.

Even now-30 years later-I’ve still got it above my bed.

On Sunday 10th November, I went to the Poppy church service in Longtown to represent the Guides (a group of girls aged 10-15). We all wore our poppy badges which are red, black and green. This time, which was the 101th year running, the Brownies (a younger group of girls) made poppy lanterns instead of the traditional wreaths and the Guides decorated a glass and used sharpies to colour it in! It was the best day ever because the crafts lit up the whole church and there was a dappled light pattern. The colour red represents  blood, black meant the death and green represents the Flanders fields.
